Two more people are now in custody in connection with a theft at London's Heathrow Airport where 21 people were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area on suspicion of robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both remain in custody, authorities confirmed.
These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later released.
Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault close to the location. He was subsequently released under investigation as the investigation proceeds.
Police were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several people hurt by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.
The attack - which police said was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - caused train delays and the partial closure of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
